Tom Fletcher brings more than two decades of institutional investment leadership to GenSphere, combining experience in portfolio management, investment implementation, and risk management with a disciplined understanding of how capital serves long-term objectives.

Before co-founding GenSphere, Tom served as Managing Director of Overlay Services at Russell Investments for more than 20 years, following earlier experience as a Portfolio Manager at Invesco. His career has spanned changing market environments and the complex investment decisions that accompany them.
A graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Tom served in the U.S. Navy’s submarine service before earning an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
At GenSphere, Tom applies his institutional experience, analytical discipline, and practical judgment to investment decisions for families. His approach emphasizes liquidity, flexibility, and a clear understanding of what the family’s capital is intended to accomplish.
